Meaningful Youth Participation Toolkit
ICDI developed a toolkit to facilitate the implementation of the organisation’s Participation Strategy in different countries. The toolkit ensures a shared understanding and approach to Meaningful Participation among all stakeholders and professionals within the organisation. The contents of this tool include:

• 22 activity cards: a collection of activities designed to foster meaningful participation and collaboration with children and young people at the organisational and project levels.
• Information on meaningful participation, providing context on children’s rights and the rationale for their inclusion in decision-making processes.
• Theoretical models of Youth Meaningful Participation.
• Guiding principles for promoting Meaningful Participation.
• Best practices, featuring successful examples of Youth Meaningful Participation.

ICDI was responsible for creating the content and design of the toolkit, including the activity cards.
