Last year, 2024, was a special year for ICDI as we celebrated our 30th anniversary! The theme of our Annual Report 2024 is “Thirty years of play: for all children, everywhere.” Since its founding in 1994, ICDI has been dedicated to promoting the well-being of children and young people growing up in challenging circumstances. That is why we took time last year to celebrate our journey and the difference we’ve made over the past three decades.
Alongside the celebrations, we continued our efforts in early childhood education and development, as well as child protection and wellbeing, working closely with our partners to make a lasting impact.
This report highlights two major initiatives: the Foundations for the Future project in Uganda and ten child-led mini-projects focused on climate action, supported as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations.
We are deeply grateful to all our partners, colleagues, and friends who have been part of our journey, whether for one year or thirty. Your trust and collaboration make everything we do possible.
