ICDI launched the TOY Programme in 2012 with the objective to bring young children and older people together. It was a success and nowadays, TOY still continues to foster a vibrant community of practice on intergenerational learning, promoting connections between generations.
TOY uses different approaches to facilitate exchange of knowledge and good practices across Europe and beyond, such as events, publications, the lively TOY website, two active projects (TOY-PLUS and TOY for Inclusion) and now also an online course for practitioners!
Are you interested in bringing older adults and young children together to share knowledge, skills, values and have fun? If yes, then the TOY online course “Together Old and Young: An Intergenerational Approach” is what you are looking for!
