Farewell by ICDI Board Chair Mathijs Euwema
It is with some regret but also with a lot of pride, that we announce that our board member Sumnima Tuledhar has decided to step down. The reason is actually quite a joyous one: Sumnima has been asked by the government of Nepal to take on the role of Ambassador in Denmark. We of course congratulate her with this new an honourable position, we are sure no one could be better suited to represent Nepal than Sumnima. It’s also a kind of acknowledgement of her years of excellent leadership of CWIN, the leading child rights organisation in Nepal (with whom ICDI has been cooperating for over a decade). Of course, we will miss her warm support and advice on the board of ICDI, but the friendship will remain. We thank Sumnima for all she has done for ICDI and wish her all the best in her new role.
