Teach the teacher: how to deal with refugee children in high school?

Yesterday, ICDI’s director Mathijs Euwema held a presentation for 50 high school teachers about possible psychosocial problems among refugee children. The meeting was organized by the municipality of Leiden. Child psychologist Mathijs Euwema focused on the resiliance of the adolescents instead of the traumas they might have endured. International Child Development Initiatives has a lot of experience working with children in war zones.
