Nico van Oudenhoven, a former child psychologist, will fill the director’s post of ICDI left vacated by Mathijs Euwema. Nico is no stranger to the organisation, he co-founded ICDI in 1994 and was its director for 12 years.
After his run as director, Nico stayed close to the organisation in his role of Senior Associate and continued to work at the intersection of research, policy, intervention, training and advocacy with the aim to improve the life chances of children and young people exposed to toxic environments.
He sees it as a privilege to work with his great colleagues and partners that are part of the fine organisation ICDI has become during the course of some 25 years.
