Committee of Recommendation

The hectic pace of modern life and the exclusion of children from the adult’s world is a threat to our children second only to poverty and unemployment. Children need opportunities to observe adults and elderly persons that are engaged in work and have time for sharing experiences and playful interactions. This insight has deeply influenced my views on early childhood education and care. I support ICDI because it is an organization that implements inclusive projects and programmes for children and the people who care for and about them, to support psychosocial development, not only of the children themselves, but of communities as a whole.
