UNICEF Chair in Children’s Rights at Leiden Law School, Leiden University. He is also programme director of the Master of Laws Advancing Studies in International Children’s Rights at Leiden Law School.

ICDI’s work revolves around the empowerment of children and young people and aims to support children’s rights. Across the globe, children face many challenges in the enjoyment of their rights and this requires our ongoing devotion. It is an honour and a privilege to support the important work of ICDI, which relates to the very core of international children’s rights, as laid down in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and supported by almost every state in the world.
